Mad Dog Gallery

The County

Mad Dog Gallery has been operating in Prince Edward County since 1990. Located in a large renovated timber framed barn on the north side of East Lake, and situated on 25 acres with beautiful gardens and paths through the meadows down to the lake, it has a wonderful pastoral setting that guests are welcome to enjoy.

The Gallery features traditional and contemporary fine art created by some of the County’s most talented artists. We usually have 3 or 4 solo shows each year alternating with group shows of about a dozen local artists.

Studio space is located above the gallery and the gardens are open to all to enjoy.

Arts Trail Feature: An Unexpected Gallery Stop Worth Lingering In

Set inside a renovated timber-frame barn near Sandbanks, Mad Dog Gallery captures one of the best parts of the Arts Trail: discovery. What begins as a quick stop often turns into a slow wander through contemporary and traditional works by local County artists, followed by a stroll through the surrounding cottage gardens. It’s the kind of place visitors remember because they didn’t expect it.
