This unique Prince Edward County retreat has been created and renovated by its owners; artist Susan Wallis and designer Glen Wallis to accommodate guests who want to get “away” from it all. With a décor of elegant simplicity, the spacious guest rooms have well-appointed private ensuites and stunning views of East Lake and the Away gardens. Guests are encouraged to linger on the expansive marble terrace by the pool or wander through the gardens to the deck by the lake.

Away is a mere 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park, 1O minutes to the wonderful shops and restaurants in Picton, 15 minutes to the shopping village of Bloomfield and 20 minutes to Wellington..

In the Spring and Fall AWAY in the County operartes as a Bed & Breakfast where your stay includes a daily feild to fork breakfast with fresh eggs from their flock of chickens. Children are not permited at the Bed & Breakfast, either are pets.

In the Summer months AWAY in the County operates as a Vacation Home. This 4 bedroom home is the perfect get-away for familiies and friends. Maximum occupancy is 8 persons. Children are most welcome. Pets are welcome too for an additional charge.
