Set on a historic former WWII air training base in Picton, Base31 is one of Prince Edward County’s most distinctive cultural destinations. Across the site, visitors can explore live music, exhibitions, food and drink, family programming, and seasonal events within a uniquely reimagined landscape.
Originally operated as a military base until 1969, the site has been thoughtfully transformed through the adaptive reuse of heritage buildings and ongoing investment in arts, culture, and community programming. Today, Base31 is home to a growing mix of galleries, makers, food and beverage experiences, and local businesses.
At its centre is B31 District, the cultural heart of Base31, where much of the site’s programming and public experiences take place. As the site continues to evolve, Base Living reflects a longer-term vision for future neighbourhoods integrated into this creative setting.
