Our region’s history has its roots in beer—the ‘Barley Days’ of the late 1800s—when one-third of The County was dedicated to growing barley.

These days, we’re pairing our farm-to-table cuisine with farm-to-pint craft beers. Styles range from bitter IPAs to easy drinking saisons and strong stouts. Keep an eye out for featured brews using farmed or even foraged, in-season ingredients. Collaborative efforts bring breweries together for tasty, local experiments and many brew pubs will pour you a tasting flight of what The County breweries have to offer.

The creative and laid-back spirit of The County is embodied in, well, our spirits. Flourishing juniper bushes contribute their bountiful fruits, serving as the essence of our artisanal gin. Each sip is a reflection of The County's rich and diverse, grain-to-glass terroir.
