Sandbanks Provincial Park is home to some of the most breathtaking natural attractions Ontario has to offer! Stunning beaches, rich biodiversity, and beautiful coastlines are only a few examples of what makes Sandbanks the ideal destination for a getaway in nature.

Day-use activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and more. All vehicles (cars, boats, motorcycles, etc.) entering the park for day use require a daily vehicle permit. Obtain your daily vehicle permit up to 5 days in advance to guarantee your spot in the park. Day use reservations can be made online at https://reservations.ontarioparks.ca/ or by phone at 1-888-668-7275. Availability is subject to capacity limits, please check out our social media pages for capacity updates.

Sandbanks offers more than 600 campsites in six campground areas: Outlet River A & B, Cedars, Richardson’s, Woodlands, and West Lake campgrounds. Campsites in these campgrounds accommodate equipment ranging from tents only to large trailers. Amenities such as water taps, comfort stations and laundry facilities are close by. Over 250 campsites offer electricity.

We also offer 2 roofed accommodations, Jacques Cottage – a quaint 1.5 story cottage right on the shores of Lake Ontario which sleeps four, and the majestic Maple Rest Heritage House. Maple Rest is a short walk to the Dunes Beach and the infamous sand dunes. Nearby to park trails, beaches and day-use facilities, this four-bedroom Victorian Home is furnished with antiques and sleeps up to 8 people. Both are available to book year-round.
