PEC is bigger and busier than you might expect! Book a table at one of our amazing restaurants and check out what events are going on while you're here. Our Visitor Information Centres are stocked with helpful tips and local insight to make your trip even smoother. Drive safe Take it easy on the roads—especially around tractors and farm vehicles. Give cyclists, pedestrians, and anyone moving slower than you plenty of space. A wave in traffic goes a long way, and making room for farm equipment and cyclists helps keep things friendly and safe. Stay patient, be mindful of the slow-moving vehicles (and turtles!) on our rural roads, and let’s keep The County as charming as it is. Leave no trace Be the kind of guest you'd want at your own place. Pack out all your garbage but please don't use our quaint small-town trash cans for household waste, and avoid dumping or creating fire pits on farmland, as it damages crops and harms the environment. Bring along your refillable water bottle! Small changes like using your own containers help cut down on single-use plastics, keeping our local landfills a little lighter.Tread lightly and lower your impact on the environment. Remembering that farms, parks and beaches are carefully managed eco-systems, not just awesome Instagram backdrops. Stay on marked paths, don’t pick crops or flowers, and leave no trace.
