Every March, sugar bushes across Prince Edward County open their doors for a truly unforgettable maple experience. Enjoy a warm, delicious pancake breakfast served with freshly made maple syrup straight from the taps, or satisfy your sweet tooth with the iconic taffy on snow—where hot maple syrup is poured over fresh snow to create a chewy, sweet treat.

As part of the celebration, Maple Madness offers you a chance to explore sugar bushes and learn about the maple syrup production process from tree tapping to syrup bottling. But the maple fun doesn’t stop there, many restaurants and beverage operators join in, offering special maple-inspired treats and drinks. 

The festivities continue with Maple in The County, a beloved tradition that invites visitors to explore sugar bushes, experience local flavours, and embrace the rich heritage and natural beauty of The County.

We serve unlimited maple syrup with our delicious homemade pancake and sausage breakfast — all day long inside our sap house beside the woodfire.

LOHA Farms

Enjoy a walk in the sugar bush, visit the animals in the barnyard, and watch how maple syrup is made in our sugar shack.

Sweetwater Cabin/Hubbs Sugarbush

Sweetwater Cabin will have our small-batch, hand-made maple products like stirred sugar, maple butter, and soft sugar candy, along with the freshest maple syrup.
