Outliers: Artists Talking to the Archive Exhibit Launch

Join us at Wellington Heritage Museum on Valentine's Day for the launch of Outliers: Artists Talking to the Archive.

This new exhibition is co-curated by The County Museums and Gather in the County.

10 artists, working in textiles, have created pieces that respond to ‘outlier’ objects from the Museums’ collection. Some objects are ordinary, others obscure, but all have proven to be inspirational.

Artifacts and artworks will be displayed side-by-side, encouraging visitors to spy the connecting threads between old and new.

Enjoy light refreshments and meet some of the participating artists. This event is free to attend.
