2025 Harvest Brigade at Broken Stone Winery

Spend the day with us amongst the vines!

What to Bring
* positive attitude
* reusable water bottle
*light gardening gloves
*proper clothing for a cool morning in the vineyard
*small clippers to cut the grapes off the vine (we will likely have enough, but it always helps if people bring some)
*a bucket or a gardening stool to sit on while you pick

We will provide coffee, refreshments and snacks at the vineyard to help energize you during the pick and a hearty lunch to reward your efforts. We finish the day listening to live music, stomping grapes and competing in a barrel rolling race.

The Schedule:
9:00 am  pickers arrive at
Broken Stone Winery

9:30 am - 12:00 pm  Meet with our staff to discuss how we would like the grapes picked, then spend the morning harvesting luscious grapes. enjoy the great outdoors, and comradery of the work crew

12:30 pm lunch & ceremonial toast to the vines with a complimentary glass of wine and hearty meal (vegetarian chili + extras)

1:00 - 3:00 pm Return to the vines to pick some more

3:30 pm Ceremonial Grape Stomp & Barrel Rolling Competition Join us in front of the stage and try stomping some grapes. It feels great on tired feet!  Compete to make the most juice and win acclaim. Compete against other grape pickers in our barrel rolling contest. It looks easier than it is!

Wander around to the crush pad to see how we destem and crush the grapes, listen to live music - you've earned a break!

Feel free to hang out at the winery;  we are open until 5:00 pm.  
We appreciate your help, so to each harvest brigade volunteer we are also offering a $10 gift certificate towards the same day purchase of one of our wines.
