On August 14th, enjoy a special storytelling experience with Aweraná:wen & Tkarahkwénhas.

Join Aweraná:wen as he shares Kanyenke’ha’ka stories that inspired the artwork created by Kanyenke’ha’ka Artist and Kanienke’ha Language teacher, Tkarahkwénhas.

Tkarahkwénhas’ beautiful artwork is being featured at A Path Forward throughout the month of August and this special one-day event will accompany her work!

Two one-hour storytelling sessions will be held on Thursday, August 14th: one from 11am-12pm and the second from 2pm-3pm. Join us for one or both sessions, at A Path Forward, located in Macaulay Heritage Park at 23 Church Street, Picton.

This is a free event, with donations welcome to support Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na Language and Cultural Centre in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
