A Talk with Brian Beaver

Author and historian, Brian Beaver, will talk about the history of his people, the Michi Saagiig (Mississauga), in the Bay of Quinte area and their move to Alnwick Township in 1837.The traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig includes the Bay of Quinte area. Their treaties and land surrenders will be included.

Brian will talk for approximately 40 minutes followed by a Q&A.
This talk will take place at the Conescon Legion, 29 County Road 39.
Copies of his book "Alderville First Nation...A History" will be available for purchase ($20 cash or e-transfer).
