Drop in for an open house of "A Path Forward," a permanent and evolving exhibit co-curated by the Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén, the Downie Wenjack Fund, and The County Museums. This exhibit explores Truth & Reconciliation efforts in Prince Edward County through history, heritage, and Indigenous works of art and stories. Visit with Artists Trevor Brant, Angela Wiggins and Janice Brant from 12-2pm. Author Brian Beaver will talk about the history of the Mississauga people and his book Alderville First Nation...A History starting at 2pm. Don't miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of local Indigenous history and culture, and to celebrate diversity with the community!
