South Shore Footpath Project Launch Day

South Shore Joint Initiative

Family friendly, Nature, Free

🚶🚶‍♀️🥾🌼 Join us for an exciting day of exploration, nature and fun activities on June 22! 🌿

🌊 Step into the beauty of Prince Edward County’s South Shore public lands on the South Shore Footpath Day. This family-friendly event, organized by the South Shore Joint Initiative, aims to introduce you to the incredible PEC South Shore Footpath Project.

Inspired by the iconic Bruce Trail, this future footpath will not only provide a stunning walking trail from Point Petre to Point Traverse but also protect and restore our fragile lands. We want to promote everyone's well-being while showcasing our community's rare beauty.

On June 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., come to the Footpath Hub at Mariners Park Museum (2065 County Rd 13, Milford, ON) for a day filled with fun and adventure. Take a guided tour through scenic conserved lands, look at beautiful Lake Ontario, check out our information booths, and indulge in mouthwatering BBQ from BIG MIKE'S BBQ. Enjoy live music by Kyra & Tully (Kyra Tully)!

Don't forget to pack your walking shoes, hats, and lawn chairs. Join us as we venture into the South Shore Footpath together! RSVP now at ssji.ca
See you there! 🌼🌞
