BIGLAKE x Base31 Present: Art of Time Ensemble's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

This event takes place Wednesday, July 24. An unforgettable evening where Art of Time brings together four Canadian pop icons from the pop, jazz, and classical worlds (Steven Page, Chris Murphy, Andy Maize & Jeremy Fisher) to reimagine The Beatles’ iconic 1967 album in its entirety.

Programmed in 2012, the ensemble’s roster of accomplished composers was set loose upon the source material, creating arrangements that maintain The Beatles’ impeccable vocal harmonies while pushing the boundaries of the underlying textures.

The result: an imaginative journey through a towering work of music.
