Noble Beast Farms

Noble Beast Farms is a quirky, creative, working alpaca farm in the heart of Prince Edward County. Easily located between Bloomfield and Wellington, we think we are a great stop on the way to or from or between (!) a few local wineries. We shepherd and care for a flock of 90+ funny and curious alpacas as well as a host of other heritage and rare-breed animals. When we are not tending to our herd, we are busy restoring our heritage barn and caring for our property’s unique County biodiversity.

Over our years on the farm, we have turned out mission toward what is widely known as "social farming." This is the celebration of the farm as a place of more than just production, but also of sharing with others, appreciating nature and learning about the animals (and cuddles, there are always cuddles). Alpacas are raised for their ever-so soft fibre. As part of our tours, we explore how alpaca fibre is made into yarn and then into scarves, hats, wraps and blankets. We literally grow clothing out of grass and sunshine!

Our newly built farm-stand and greenhouse has original alpaca farm products available for sale year round. Pick up a blanket, a knit kit to enjoy at the cottage or a pair of our famous alpaca double-thick terry socks.

We focus on animal health, breeding, and small-scale on-farm experiences that foster a connection with the land and the animals.
