With a flat gravel surface and calm waters, it’s perfect for kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards looking for a quiet place to launch. Launch Features Surface: Flat gravel with no concrete ramp or dock Water Depth: Shallow near shore (approximately 40 cm) Fairway: Over 15 metres of open water for easy maneuvering Important Notes for Visitors No designated trailer parking or turnaround space — vehicles parked along the driveway may block access High pedestrian use — the area is popular for swimming and park activities, especially in summer Not maintained for motorized boats — the site is subject to washouts and lacks the infrastructure for larger vessels Shared access — the driveway also serves a water treatment facility, so it’s important to keep the route clear This lake is highly susceptible to the introduction of invasive species. Please ensure your boat is cleaned before launching at this location from other water bodies.
