Location: Ridley Street North, Rossmore (Ameliasburgh Region) Water Access: Bay of Quinte Located just off Ridley Street beside a popular greenspace, the Rossmore Municipal Boat Launch offers easy access to the Bay of Quinte. It’s a well-frequented site for casual boaters, anglers, and paddlers, with nearby picnic areas, shoreline fishing spots, and scenic views of the Norris Whitney Bridge. Launch Features Ramp: 14.8-metre concrete ramp with good traction and a metal grate underwater extension (1.8 metres long). Please note that water at the toe of the ramp is very shallow during low water conditions. Dock: Fixed wooden dock measuring 15.7 metres long and 2.4 metres wide, equipped with two cleats for securing boats. Fairway: Over 15 metres of clearance to the nearest obstruction, offering easy maneuvering for most watercraft. Access: Designed for counter-clockwise approach and launch. Surface: Flat, gravel-covered staging area with a hard-surface entry zone of at least 2 metres. Shallow water near the ramp may limit usability for deeper-draft boats. This is a shared space with both paddlers and motorboats — be mindful of changing weather and water traffic conditions.
