Youth Clay Club (Ages 10–13)
Join us at County Creative for Youth Clay Club — a creative 4-week pottery program designed for youth ages 10–13 who are interested in exploring handbuilding, sculpting, pottery wheel techniques, and ceramic surface design in a fun and supportive studio environment.
This program gives youth the opportunity to create multiple clay projects while developing artistic confidence, problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical ceramic skills through guided instruction and hands-on learning.
Throughout the program, participants will:
Explore handbuilding and sculpting techniques
Learn introductory pottery wheel skills
Create functional and decorative ceramic pieces
Experiment with texture, carving, and glazing
Develop creative thinking and artistic expression
Build confidence working independently in a shared studio environment
Projects may include:
Personal dishware
Sculptures and figurines
Creature creations
Decorative ceramics
Wheel-thrown projects
Personalized clay designs inspired by each participant’s interests
We encourage creativity and flexibility within the program and are happy to support youth in adapting projects to reflect their own ideas and artistic style.
