We're excited to welcome Bill Penner back to Melt Studio & Gallery with his new solo exhibition, ceremony of innocence.

The exhibition takes its title from W. B. Yeats' The Second Coming, written in the aftermath of the First World War. More than a century later, the poem's questions remain strikingly relevant. As the world once again stands at the edge of uncertainty, Penner's powerful new body of work invites us to reflect on humanity's future: Will we witness rupture or rapture—or, as Yeats warned, "a blood-dimmed tide"?

Show runs July 30th to August 23rd 2026.
