Everyday Reconciliation, written by Derek Aronhie:nens Montour and Elin Sandberg Miller provides a Kanien'kehá:ka and Settler perspective on Canada's historic and current relations with First Nations. Like Valley of the Birdtail – which started us on this shared reading project – this book is richly researched and informative, and provides numerous practical questions a Settler can ask themself and actions they can take, on their journey toward allyship and reconciliation.
The book is available through the Picton library, and for sale, in hardcopy, ebook, and audiobook formats.
We will meet at the Picton main branch on Saturday, September 26, 1:30 - 3:30 PM.
