Remembrance Day Crochet Workshops

Create a Poppy, Share a Moment of Remembrance

On Saturdays and Sundays at 11AM and 1PM leading up to Remembrance Day, join us in the Exhibition Hall for a Crocheted Poppy Workshop, led by Base31 team members.

Whether you’re an experienced crocheter or picking up a hook for the first time, you’ll be guided through the process of creating your own poppy.

Each session includes:

• Yarn

• A crochet hook to use

• A printed pattern

• Hands-on instruction and support throughout the session.

Workshop fee: $10 per participant
Register in person at the Exhibition Hall on the day of the workshop.

Come for the craft, stay for the conversation. Set within the historic Exhibition Hall, these small-group workshops offer a chance to slow down, learn a traditional handcraft and reflect on the meaning of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance.

You’ll leave with your handmade poppy, a pattern and the skills to create more on your own.
