Be My Guest Sailing

Do you want to experience sailing in Prince Edward County? Be my guest sailing aboard my Tanzer 26 sailboat for a 3-hour afternoon sail or a 3-hour late afternoon sail from Prinyers Cove, Prince Edward County. This offer is open to anyone who is willing to make a $200 donation to the PECM Hospital Foundation.

The boat is a Tanzer 26. Tanzer manufactured a number of different models and lengths. This 26-footer has below-deck accommodations including a separate “head” (washroom in landlubber terms).

She is a comfortable and safe cruiser and family boat thanks to her fixed steel keel. We can sail her in a very lively way with some heeling over, some spray and motion as she drives through the waves, or we can cool our jets for a more relaxed cruise. She can be a very lively boat to sail. She has always brought me home safely in spite of some very “exciting” conditions.

She is docked at 419 Prinyers Cove Crescent which is 15 minutes east of Lake on the Mountain which is 15 minutes east of Picton. From this location we have lots of sailing room in the wide open waters of Adolphus Reach or we can go out through the Upper Gap into Lake Ontario.
