Every second Saturday in the summer, join Nancy Woods as she demonstrates historic cooking in beautiful Macaulay House.
Nancy is inspired by what is in season, and by food that the Macaulay household would have grown, stored and cooked in the early to mid-1800s. Her recipes are informed by extensive research, and she has honed her craft over 30 years. Nancy will be sharing treats from the hearth for all to enjoy!
Come and try a treat from the hearth every second Saturday in June, July and August (June 13th, July 11th and August 8th).
Macaulay House is located at 35 Church Street Picton. It is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10am-4pm. Admission is by donation.
