Sonia D’Aloisio is a self-taught artist and founder of So Hip It Hurts, Toronto’s oldest skate and snowboard shop. After decades in graphic design, including a Juno nomination for Our Lady Peace’s Clumsy, she returned to painting following the loss of a beloved raven. Her evocative oils of ravens, crows, and barn owls explore healing, transformation, and the beauty and mystery of these birds, reflecting a deep spiritual and emotional connection to the natural world and her life’s purpose. Sonia is a resident of Warkworth, Ontario.
This is her 1st solo show at Melt Gallery. Gallery hours Friday though Sunday noon - 5pm Show Dates October 31st - November 23rd. Opening Reception : Saturday November 1st 1-4 pm. Artist in Attendance. Appointments can be arranged for serious inquires outside of regular business hours.
