Broke Canvas is the debut solo show by Colin Green, at Arts on Main Back Room Gallery. This collection of mixed media paintings transforms vintage books and newspapers into vibrant works of art, blending bold colors, expressive lines, and street art influences. Featuring imagery like old telephones and pop culture references, the show explores nostalgia and everyday moments through a raw, graphic lens—inviting viewers to rediscover the beauty in the overlooked and the stories hiding in plain sight.
We acknowledge that Prince Edward County rests within the ancestral lands and waters stewarded by the Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg (Mississauga), Huron Wendat, and Haudenosaunee.
