Bolos are having a moment, and we’re here for it!

For us, they never really went away. Join us for our first-ever bolo workshop and create a one-of-a-kind piece using chains, charms, beads, and treasures that speak to you. No experience necessary—we’ll guide you every step of the way.

what is a bolo?

A bolo is part necklace, part statement piece, and entirely your own. Inspired by traditional bolo ties, these versatile pieces can be worn long, short, layered, or styled as a bold finishing touch. No two are ever alike.

In this workshop you’ll:

• Design and construct your own bolo

• Explore material selection and finishing techniques

• Learn how to combine chains, charms, treasures, and found objects into a cohesive design

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced maker, this workshop is an opportunity to experiment, get creative, and leave with a handcrafted bolo that’s completely unique to you.

• Cost: $40 per person + materials

• Location: Anice Jewellery in Bloomfield, Prince Edward County

Your workshop fee includes your first drink. Our in-house wine bar offers a selection of Prince Edward County wines, local beer, and other beverages available for purchase while you create.

Bring your treasures
We encourage you to rummage through your jewellery box before you arrive. Bring old chains, charms, brooches, beads, single earrings, or sentimental pieces you’d love to incorporate. Our favourite designs begin with a forgotten treasure and end as a piece you’ll reach for again and again.
