Big Wreck returns to the Drill Hall as part of Rock the County, bringing their signature blend of powerful vocals, soaring guitar work, and chart-topping alt-rock back to Prince Edward County.
Fronted by Toronto singer/songwriter/guitarist Ian Thornley, Big Wreck burst onto the scene in 1997 with their debut album In Loving Memory Of..., including the hit singles, “That Song,” “Blown Wide Open” and “The Oaf.” Following a hiatus from 2002-2010, the band returned the following year with the #1 single “Albatross” and platinum-selling album of the same name. Big Wreck has gone on to release a continuous flow of celebrated hit albums and songs while crossing North America with their unique brand of heavy-hitting live rock.
