An exhibition of painting and poetry

Fascinated by the various ships navigating our local waterways, Prince Edward County visual artist Karole Marois presents A Passing Ship, an exhibition of waterscape paintings and poetry. Through the imagery of ships in motion, Marois explores themes of time, passages, and the journey of life.

Exhibition: Sunday May 24th to Sunday May 31st, 2026, 10 AM to 6 PM.

The artist will be at the exhibition every day. Opening Reception: Sunday May 24th, 2026, 2-5 PM

Please join us, and listen to a few poetry readings starting at 2:30 PM.

On exhibition at the County Arts Lab, inside the Armoury, 206 Main Street, Picton. The Armoury is a beautifully renovated 1913 historical building, located beside the Picton Public Library and across from the Naval Marine Archive.

There is FREE parking in the Armoury lot at the back, during weekends only. Otherwise, parking is FREE at any time in the municipal lot at the corner of Mary and Elizabeth streets.
