County Stage Company brings together some of Canada’s most exciting theatre artists in one of the country’s most beautiful destinations: Prince Edward County.
Founded in 2006 as Festival Players, County Stage has become a vibrant part of the region’s cultural life, presenting professional theatre in distinctive venues across the County—from historic playhouses to vineyards and outdoor stages. Each summer, artists live and create here, transforming the County into a hub of storytelling, creativity, and shared experience.
For visitors, County Stage offers a chance to pair world-class theatre with everything Prince Edward County is known for—wine, food, landscapes, and unforgettable evenings out. For residents, it’s a gathering place where artists and community meet.
County Stage continues to grow as a destination for cultural tourism while remaining deeply rooted in the local community through outreach programs, free events, and opportunities for young and emerging artists.
