Start at the Brewery

Start at the Brewery

Our region’s history has its roots in beer—the ‘Barley Days’ of the late 1800s—when one-third of The County was dedicated to growing barley.

These days, we’re pairing our farm-to-table cuisine with farm-to-pint craft beers. Styles range from bitter IPAs to easy drinking saisons and strong stouts. Keep an eye out for featured brews using farmed or even foraged, in-season ingredients. Collaborative efforts bring breweries together for tasty, local experiments and many brew pubs will pour you a tasting flight of what The County breweries have to offer.

Follow the Cider Trail

Follow the Cider Trail

Discover the rich tradition of cider-making in Prince Edward County, where old-growth orchards produce both sweet and sour apples that are expertly transformed into delicious ciders.

To explore it all, follow the Ontario Cider Trail and zero in on The County’s cideries. It’s an easy way to map your route between orchard stops, lakeside sips, and small-batch producers, turning a scenic drive through Prince Edward County into a full cider experience.

Sip Something Different

Sip Something Different

While Prince Edward County is best known for its breweries and cideries, it’s also home to a couple of distilleries crafting small-batch spirits worth sipping. The County’s creative and laid-back character is captured in—yes—its spirits. Flourishing juniper bushes contribute their bountiful fruit to our artisanal gins, while each pour reflects the region’s rich, grain-to-glass terroir.
