At Visit The County, we’re focused on community-first tourism - listening to residents, finding balance during busy seasons, and planning for long-term growth that protects the character and charm of The County.

Tourism helps keep Prince Edward County vibrant — supporting local businesses, events, and creative industries while building a stronger year-round economy. As our Executive Director, Sarah Fox, shared, Visit The County’s goal is sustainable tourism growth with a strong emphasis on community alignment and economic impact.

Tourism Fuels Events We All Enjoy

Visit The County’s Community Partnership Fund helps local organizations and collectives host events that attract visitors and encourage overnight stays during the quieter months. The program extends the benefits of tourism beyond summer, supporting economic activity, creativity, and community connection year-round.

This year, $26,750 has been awarded to 15 local events taking place between November 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026 — all chosen for their potential to draw visitors, inspire overnight stays, and bring residents and visitors together to celebrate The County.

Tourism Builds Pride of Place

Programs like Countylicious, celebrate The County’s food scene and give locals and visitors a reason to gather and savour what’s grown and made here. These experiences highlight the best of who we are and what we offer, turning visitors into ambassadors and locals into storytellers.
