At Visit The County, we maintain a year-round event calendar aimed at showcasing the best tourism events happening in Prince Edward County. Whether it’s a festival, concert, or a pop-up at a local business, we want to help promote your event and drive more visitors to our beautiful region.
By adding your event early, you also maximize the potential for further promotion through our partnerships with Destination Ontario, South Eastern Ontario (RTO9), and other key tourism organizations.

Tips for Success
- Include a high-quality image with your event submission. Avoid text-heavy photos.
- Submit your event at least one month in advance for maximum exposure to trip planners.
- Allow a minimum of three (3) business days for it to be published on visitthecounty.com
Must actively promote and attract out-of-town visitors
Must take place within Prince Edward County
Must be submitted by an authorized organizer, promoter, or staff member
Must be open to the public (free or ticketed events are eligible)
Must have a defined start and end date (ongoing/open-ended events are not eligible)
Corporate events (e.g., trade shows, meetings, conferences, training seminars) are not eligible for the event calendar but may be shared through industry channels — contact hello@visitthecounty.com
Retail promotions (e.g., sales, sidewalk sales, happy hour dining specials, store advertising) are not eligible
Fundraising events tied to lottery-style activities (e.g., Bingo) are not eligible
Must comply with all applicable laws, municipal by-laws, and event policies
Must not include discriminatory, offensive, or political content; all events must align with the Ontario Human Rights Code (Visit The County reserves the right to decline submissions)
