Four-Season Visitor Economy Strategy Project

Seasons of Opportunity

Seasons of Opportunity is a community-led partnership creating a practical strategy to strengthen Prince Edward County's visitor economy across all four seasons. Grounded in local data and shaped by community voices, the project will identify opportunities that support businesses, workers and communities year-round.

Building a Stronger Visitor Economy

Building a Stronger Visitor Economy

Prince Edward County's visitor economy continues to grow, creating jobs, supporting businesses and contributing to the County's cultural vitality. However, much of that activity remains concentrated within a short summer season. Seasons of Opportunity will identify practical opportunities to strengthen and diversify the local economy through a shared four-season strategy. More than a report, it's a roadmap being developed by the organizations that will work together to implement it.

The partnership

Seasons of Opportunity is funded by the Province of Ontario, the County of Prince Edward and Visit The County, and is led by the Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce. For the first time, five of The County's key organizations have come together around one shared goal.
