I deliberately didn't mention Prince Edward County this summer, especially Sandbanks, as it was packed with visitors coming to cool off in the waters beside the magnificent dunes. The popularity of this idyllic region shows no signs of waning, so late summer and autumn are a wonderful time to discover its charms.
