Congratulations to Jason Pettit

Jason captured the essence of winter in sound—the hush that blankets the world, the instant when the cold retreats from your bones, and the quiet awe of snow-powdered trees standing silently in the mist-filled woods. The judges were impressed by the photograph’s quiet, immersive beauty, particularly how it captured the fleeting stillness of winter in The County.
