Stunning Submissions from Our Photo Contest Contest RulesOpen to Canadian residents only.Participants must own the sole copyright to all submitted photos.Accepted file formats: JPG, PNG, TIF, SVG, PDF, AVI.Images must have been taken within the past two years (2023–2025). A minimum of 5 images is required to qualify. Participants may upload additional entries until the contest closes (Feb 1st – Mar 1st). Participants can continue to add photos until 5 entries are reached.Photos must be family-friendly, free of watermarks (minor name exceptions allowed), and taken in Prince Edward County.Photos should reflect the spirit of tourism and highlight the joy of visiting the area.No collages, over-processed images, or political messaging. Inappropriate or plagiarized photos will be disqualified. We will not approve photos that are racist, violent, hurtful, too suggestive, etc.Judges' decisions are final.The winner will be notified to arrange a $500 prize in gift cards to locally owned Prince Edward County businesses. Anyone residing in or visiting Prince Edward County who loves photography! By entering, you agree to share your photos for tourism promotional purposes with proper credit. Q2: What’s the prize? The grand prize winner will receive $500 in gift cards to locally-owned* businesses of their choice in Prince Edward County. The winner can select up to five businesses, provided they offer gift cards.*Locally-owned businesses in Prince Edward County are owned by individuals who live in The County or have a strong connection to the local community. These businesses are independent, not part of a franchise or larger corporate chain. Q3: How many photos can I submit? Using the submission form on this page, you must submit a minimum of 5 photos for entry. Provide your name, email address, and photo descriptions. Q4: Can I use a professional camera? Yes! Professional equipment is allowed. Q5: Can I edit my photos? Minimal editing is allowed, but over-processed images will not be accepted. Q6: How will the winner be chosen?
