Comedy Country is Prince Edward County's summer comedy series celebrating its 10th anniversary season in 2024. We’ve got a stellar lineup of comedy experiences on tap that showcase Canada’s best comedy talent against the picturesque backdrop of Prince Edward County and the Bay of Quinte region.

Local comedy duo Short Attention Spa lead an 8-week “zero-to-hero” live comedy boot camp in two modules that will bring comedy-curious folks from concepts to a live performance – Starting April 28 – June 16. Come on out to the culminating live show, The County Comedy Project Showcase on Friday, June 21st!
Comedy on the Moira

In August we return to The Belleville Club for a night of stand-up comedy one of Belleville’s historic venues and maybe its best-kept-secret.
Comedy at the Cider House

The next night, we travel south to The County Cider Company for a stellar cinque-a-sept of live comedy overlooking picturesque Waupoos Bay.
Carson & Taylor Promise to Disappear

In September we invite you to Mt. Tabor Playhouse in Milford for two nights of Magic… hilarious and awe-inspiring Magic by TOsketchfest Audience Choice Award Winners Carson & Taylor.
Series Finale in Stirling and Picton

Our 10th season wraps with back-to-back nights with host of CBC’s The Debaters, Steve Patterson. Stirling Festival Theatre and The Regent Theatre hostSteve Patterson’s new full-length ode to Fatherhood, “Steve Patterson is… PatterDAD.”

It’s gonna be another laugh-out-loud season with The County’s live comedy series, Comedy Country – Big Laughs in Rural Places.

Comedy Country is a special project of the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to promoting and supporting Canadian comedic talent.
